As some of you know, I am a law student working on a model proposal for
suits against health professionals who medically mismanage the
breastfeeding relationship. I strongly believe that only when health
professionals experience the same accountability for their knowledge and
management of lactation that they experience in other areas of practice
will they begin to value breastfeeding and improve their level of care. As
I work on my paper, I would very much like to hear from any interested
parties who have thoughts, opinions, insights, knowledge, research
suggestions, etc on this topic. Please e-mail me directly.

Additionally, I understand that some work has been done by a Dr. Freed
(sp?) on the ethics of physicians as pawns of the synthetic breastmilk
industry. I have been unable to track this info down. If anyone can e-mail
me a cite/source for this work, I'll be grateful.

Thanks-
