I couldn't agree more.  We had a private practice LC "tail" us
several times this summer so she could see what working with moms
and babies in the immediate postpartum period is like.  (Her
experience had been as an LLL Leader, so was most familiar with
babies after discharge.)  I think is was a good experience.

I would like to see all private paractice LC's have this opportunity
and also any hospital based LCs that have never worked with moms
after discharge to tail those LC's.  We can learn a lot by walking
in each other's shoes for a while.
