I just have to share this....
Our hospital has a quality assurance program with chart review for our
emergency department.  I received a handwritten note today from the hospital
administrator stating "please review this chart for appropriateness of
removing from breastfeedings."  (the scenario was an ER doc that told a lady
to pump and dump because of the infant's oral thrush).
Of course I wrote write back, and was so delighted that this was even
recognized as a quality assurance issue!
Progress one small step at a time!
