Ann, I checked with my priest.  He said he could not imagine what the
hospital people were thinking she was teaching.  How could God's not having
your cycle start during breastfeeding be controlled by the mother?  I
explained the whole "on demand" delaying menstrual cycle better than timed
feedings, but he still could not even get close to being birth control.
And this guy is major conservative when it comes to birth control.  His
only concern was that the story involving what actually was told about the
class to the hospital and what was actually told to the nurse about
stopping the class was accurate.  Hope this helps.
