Actually, we are usually UNDER-stating. 

As in the example given: "breastfed babies have 40% fewer ear 
infections - which really
means that formula fed babies have 60% more ear infections"

It really means that ff babies have 66% more ear infections.

(if bf have 60 infections and ff have 100 infections, then 40 more is 
2/3rds more)
