Sometimes the differences in our languages have me hooting with laughter:
here in the UK, the phrase "I am pissed" is a not very polite way of saying
"I've had too much to drink", so I was relieved to work out from responses
to Kathleen's post, that in the USA this phrase means "I'm very fed up" and
that Kathleen hadn't been over-indulging at the keyboard!
