I am not sure what a truly "natural birth" is or looks like.  I am quite sure
that as a physician I have never seen one.  All I was saying is that gravity
combined with cord pulsations decides how much blood an infant gets from the
placenta after delivery.  If an infant is much higher than the placenta, blood
will drain AWAY from the infant causing initial hypovolemia, then later,
anemia.
