Of the oral pain meds we use most often here in the states for =
post-partum Moms, only Percocet (oxycodone and acetaminophen) seems to =
have not been implicated in problems with nursing neonates. 

Dear Friends:
        Clinically, Percocet and Percodan have both shown to affect some 
infants if the mother is taking them for more than a few days. I personally have 
worked with mothers that had milk supply problems as groggy babies didn't nurse 
well; these mothers were taking some oxycodone compound round the clock for a 
week or more. One mother had a wound dehiscence of the cesarean site and had 
to have enormous wound cleansing and repacking twice a day; she still wanted 
to breastfeed.
