You said that baby nurses 7 times a day. Could mother decrease the supplement given per feeding so that the baby would be hungry more often therefore stimulating the breast more and hopefully removing more milk as well. Also is the mother or has she pumped after feeding to increase the amount of milk removed? Does she nurse off from one breast or both breast per feeding? If her supply is low the baby may benefit from nursing from both breast. Or she nurse from both breast for 10 minutes each and then pick one breast and put him back on the breast with the SNS after nursing both sides. Just some suggestions.
