Just read an article in my evening paper about Marit Arnstad, the Norwegian Minister of Oil and Energy who is in Saudi Arabia on official business.  She has met no women during her stay, and this was commented on in some detail, before the juicy part of the article.  The Minister is the single mother of August, 9 months old, and he is along, though the article stated specifically he is not participating in the work side of her trip.  In the next paragraph, we could read that "Sometimes, the role of mother takes precedence over governmental duties, and on the flight, Arnstad leaves her Saudi counterpart on his own for a while as she breastfeeds August at 10,000 feet over the dunes..."
