I hope this is ok to post to lactnet:
the National Organization on Adolescent Pregnancy, Parenting and
Prevention is having a conference in Chicago Nov. 16-18.Their
brochure states that they are the only national org. that focuses
solely on adolescent pregnancy, parenting and prevention issues. Would
any of you like to present a topic?  They need proposals by May 30.They
do NOT offer honorariums or pay any expenses  ;(   They are expecting
600+ participants this year and will give priority to proposals
"that provide new and innovative ideas and skills to providers
and program participants. " They ARE interested in breastfeeding
as one of three conference "strands"-breastfeeding falls under the
"adolescent pregnancy" strand; the other two are adolescent
parenting and adolescent preg. prevention.
Perhaps someone in the Chicago area would be interested in presenting.If
