So glad to hear from an MD that actually reads and appreciates LC consult
notes! I always send them, and have for years, and absolutely never hear a
word back from them. I don't let it get to me - I always try to put in
information that may help them with their next pt. with a problem, cleverly
disguised as part of my report. Lots of experience in this from my years as
a hospital nurse!

I do notice that one of the groups of family pracs. makes referals to me
directly (as in the doc or staff call me, instead of just giving out my
phone #), so I try to do extra-good notes to them.
