Wellstart has some great info to share with Dads regarding breastfeeding.
In my classes, I bring in a dad (one I am closely associated with :) ) He
spends about 15 minutes directly addressing "Dad" issues, and covers the
gamut: what are breasts for? (yes there are two purposes) How does he fit
in, what is his new role?, costs of formula feeding, time involved in
formula prep, cleaning, etc - allowing a little time for Q and A. He does
also happen to be a Family Practice doc, but the issues he addresses are not
medical.
