Hello Alicia:

In Canada, educational material aimed at the general public should not exceed
grade 7 and is generally recommended  at between grade 5 - 7 level - this
depends on which source you use - Shocking, but true.  Hope this helps.  You can
use a software package called rightwriter which points out reading level and
tells you how to correct for this.
