Karen,
I think you hit the  nail on the head when you said that our  recommended 
latch methods are what work for "those who come to us for  help".  That is it in 
a nutshell.  I see mothers nursing in  unbelievable positions and they are 
smiling, the baby is gaining--all is  well.  Probably most things would (and do) 
work for them, myself  included.  But your point is right on the money. Thank 
you.
