Hi All,
Lisa M., it's a great idea to have a book published with all the myths about
bf and the truth.
Who can we get to volunteer for such a project?
Can it be put out by ILCA as a fund raiser for research and education?

On this note I must recommend for everyone to read my favorite book on the
subject of dispelling
mis-information and the myths about Childbirth

We only have to find a way to get all the OB's, and L & D nurses to read it.

"Obstetric Myths Versus Research Realities"
A Guide to the Medical Literature.

This book might also put to rest the questions of RN or not RN IBCLC, and if
one way is a "better" suited path to being a lactation consultant.

This is a very readable book about a topic steeped in mis-information.
It was intended for both professioanls and lay people alike.
