In response to Patricia Coleman's post re: the boy twin that persistantly
holds tongue to roof of his mouth, you didn't mention if you had tried a
nipple shield. If you can get baby's mouth open with rooting, the shield can
put pressure on his tongue to keep it down and cupped. I would put the
supplimenter tube right under the shield (next to mom's skin) so this baby
gets immediate reward for suckling at the breast. If and when he starts
suckling, you can often unlatch and quickly put baby back to breast without
