There may be no issues at all. Keeping the baby calm (and bf is great 
for that) can help reduce the risk of spikes in blood pressure that 
could stress blood flow in the malformations.

If the baby is feeling unwell, it might be hard to settle and feed. If 
the neck is stiff, then some positions might not be comfortable (baby's 
usually tip their head back a little to bf). The important thing is to 
assess the baby as an individual with strengths, abilities and perhaps 
difficulties and use your creativity to maximize the former and 
compensate for the latter.

If you have a more detailed evaluation, I'd be happy to make some 
suggestions. Is the baby born yet, or has this been picked up on a 
prenatal ultrasound?
