Hi all,
Saw a spot on CNN Headline News tonite. Anesthesiologists were talking about
patients needing their caffeine and going thru caffeine withdrawal during
surgeries. Anyway, to relate it to bf, the dr. said many are reviewing and
revising their recommendations re NPO for surgery, from 8 hrs down to 4 or
even 2 hrs. And they could then allow that anxious pt his cup of coffee
prior to surg. They were speaking of adult pts, obviously, but maybe this
will trickle down and more will allow the little ones their "fix" too.
