This is my first mailing to LACTNET.  I am an R.N. and certified childbirth
educator. I also teach prenatal breastfeeding classes at a small community
hospital. I am an ILCA member (recently attended the conference) and
aspiring IBCLC hoping to take the exam next July.  I am writing as part of
an assignment for an internet graduated course on Breastfeeding and Human
Lactation. The assignment is to compare practices by a short survey of folks
from different countries to compare different rates of breastfeeding,
birthing practices such as epidurals, c-sections. I'd appreciate hearing
from anyone with knowlege on this subjectin or outside the U.S. Feel free to
