I don't want to strat a huge debate etc. on Lactnet re: autism, but I highly 
recommend Dr Paul Offit's book "Autism's False Prophets."  Dr Offit is from 
Children's Hospital in Philadelphia PA, one of the best in the US.

I think BF her 1 year old is the best nutritionally and social interaction 
wise, plus any other early intervention the mom can access.  Pat in SNJ
