I had a patient bring them in. she said did not work as well as Medela flanges. I've had people jerry-rig their Lansinoh pumps with medela flanges and tubing and have it work better.

Just go online and you can see about it. It's supposed to attach to any
kind of pump. Like many pumps and accessories out there, it has some good
points and some bad points. There is no one size fits all - just like there's no standard breast!

Thanks Jane, I do have experience with many types of pumps and understand your point above. I am familiar with the website, and I've read fairly good and mixed reviews on-line about the device. It does have an actual pump that can be purchased along with the collection cups and flanges. What I'm looking for is someone who has had some personal experience or had some clients who have used it and specifics about what they thought. I don't think you can get a true idea about any product by just looking at the website of that product, and I tend to be skeptical about on-line reviews.
So, if anyone wants to email me privately with your thoughts about the Freemie pump, that would be great! Thanks to those who already have J.

Subject: freemie pump

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has heard of or had experience with a hands-free pump called "Freemie"? I haven't heard of many people who have had good experiences with the hands-free type of pump, but someone from our hospital's DME was asking me about it.
