Well another stab to the heart of breastfeeding, and of course from a
physician who is a "researcher" and therefore must know his facts, that
protection breastfeeding confers is not important in such a "developed" place
like the US... I noticed there was a tremendous amount of rhetoric about how
difficult nursing can be, and no one should feel guillty for giving up such a
stressful and painful "ritual", but nowhere was there any discussion about
lactation consultants or other professionals who actually know about
breastfeeding, and the direct assistance and support they can offer...
Aargh...
