I was strolling past my local library's new title section and, "Welcome to Your Child's Brain" grabbed my interest. I figured there would be a whole chapter devoted to breastfeeding, but was shocked to find only two reference sections. When checking out the first, there were two pages devoted to the MYTH that breastfeeding helps your baby's brain. They claimed a meta-analysis did not show there was any increase in intelligence for breastfed babies and the differences in breastfed babies were due to the type of mothers who breastfed to begin with. This new book was written by Sandra Aamodt.
