Personally I would use 2% cow's milk as a first try.  If that doesn't work
try the soy, I know some mom's with toddlers who use the rice milk.  These
kids would have some breast milk in their diet and other foods and a
multivit would be appropriate.

milk, at 38,  he is 6'2" and still avoids milk.
