Some toddlers prefer liquids - frankly it is quicker and easier to get a
full tummy than feeding yourself.  (Lots of adults do the same thing!)  But
I also think some babies know instinctively to stay away from foods r/t
allergies.  I like Ellen Satter's ideas, put good foods in front of them and
let them choose to eat.  For toddlers I find small dishes and small amounts
are a better choice.  Big piles of food overwhelm them.  Pat in SNJ
