I spoke with Stefanie on the phone, and she mentioned that she is just doing
the "scut work" -- the background information gathering, and then the story
will be turned over to a producer.  As of last Thursday, she had received 80
e-mails and 50 phone calls and was somewhat overwhelmed by the number of
responses.  Chances are she is just going to compile the information about
who called and offered to be interviewed and turn it over to the producer.
She said it would be a few weeks before the producer was assigned and
started contacting people.
