Y'know, in OB, women have ultrasounds -- just in case.  They have an IV --
just in case.  They have EFM -- just in case.  It's called "just in case
obstetrics."  Why not "just in case breastfeeding."  "You should breastfeed
your baby, and keep your milk supply up -- just in case there is a hurricane.
 Or a tornado.  Or an earthquake.  Or Y2K does happen and there is no gas to
go to the store (which isn't open anyway) to get formula.  Or no water with
which to mix it.  Or gas or electricity to operate the stove.

Yeah -- we need to begin telling these moms they really need to be
breastfeeding -- just in case.
