I have some good news but I need your help in getting the information out to
others.

The good news is that I am happy to announce that the final half of a 2-part
article I authored has been recently published in Sleep Review (SR). SR is a
free publication in the US and Canada for health care professionals interested
in the fields of sleep and breathing. It is accessible anywhere in the world
at: www.sleepreviewmag.com.

The goal or purpose of the two articles is to try to develop a link between
the sleep and lactation specialties. The articles can be accessed directly
from the website above under current (May-June) and past (March-April) issues, or
directly from: http://www.sleepreviewmag.com/Articles.ASP?articleid=S0303F04
for the first article or
http://www.sleepreviewmag.com/Articles.ASP?articleid=S0305F06 for the second article. Both links are also available on my website
in the section 'Articles'. I am hoping the above articles will help elevate
breastfeeding to a new level of importance as well as a sharing of ideas
between the sleep and breastfeeding specialties.

I would appreciate your help in sharing the articles with pediatricians and
sleep specialists in your community. The goal is to help them better
understand the importance of breastfeeding as it relates to how breastfeeding can
reduce the risk of breathing and sleep related health care problems.

If you like the articles, please write a note to the editor, Paige Smith, and
thank her for publishing the articles. She can be contacted through SR's
website and clicking on 'Feedback'. Please tell her what country you are from if
you are outside the US.

If you know any health care providers interested in sleep and breathing,
encourage them to sign up for a free subscription to SR. They can subscribe
through SR's website and clicking on 'Free Subscription'.

I would recommend lactation support people develop a basic understanding of
sleep apnea / sleep disordered breathing. I have tried to make this easy for
you with some presentations and articles on my website. I would recommend the
presentation on 'The importance of breastfeeding to total health' and 'Sleep
apnea presentation', as well as some of the articles on my site.

All information on my website is downloadable and free to anyone in the world
if used for educational purposes only.

You have my permission to share this note with others.

For Better Health :-)
