Hello again,

Yes, that says beasties, not breasties!

I have recurrent yeast. It presents as painful nodules, closely
resembling Heberden's arthritic nodes, at the distal finger joints. I
got this while working in the Transplant Unit many, many years ago.

The nodules contain a clear, thick, syrupy liquid, containing budding
yeast. I am concerned that I may, unknowingly, pass this to a
mother/baby dyad.

I have been using the topical tx for 3 weeks. The oral tx is very
expensive (and HMO's are balking at the cost) with many s.e.'s. Does
anyone have suggestions concerning the treatments we might use for our
Moms. Would they work for this?

TIA. I'm still really enjoying Lactnet. I'm afraid I'm going to spend
this rainy OK day (my only day off) sitting here learning more about the
things the NET has to offer. Who cares if we have clean clothes?
