Hi! Can I move to Australia? Nursing taxi drivers, monkeys...
seems a lot more interesting than than what we LCs do here!
I have to admit that my kids keep me entertained though. Some gems:
*At the monkey zoo, 5 year old Yael announced to the zoo-keeper in front
of a large crowd: "My mother knows a lot about nursing baby monkeys!"
*A letter was written by e-mail to the pregnant hostess of Israel's
children's popular
channel by 10 year old Dana offering my free services.
*I caught Dana (who is now starting to "bud") with the cabbage leaves in
her size AAA training bra. Why? She said it would help her
engorgement.
*When Yael gets angry with me, she threatens to tell all my clients that
I'm not home and to go buy formula.
*Yael's teacher "volunteered" me to go on a school trip to a kibbutz.
You see, since I'm an LC, I must know everything about cows and goats.
And here's my favorite: My Dad (who's a bit of a character) was
visiting when I had to work with a new client. As we were walking up to
my office he shouted "I'm coming upstairs with the cookies!"
From Susan Nachman-Srebrnik, LC in steamy Ranana, Israel who is messing
around with the computer when she should be getting her work done.
