I thought I'd share this with everyone.

Last week, one of our local newscasts was doing a series on infant health
which included breastfeeding. I found that the comment made by the news
anchor did more to promote breastfeeding than the report itself. His
wife just gave birth 6 weeks before to a boy. They showed a picture of
the mom and babe. The anchor then went on to say that if his son
continued to drink his mother's milk the way he had been, he'd soon be as
big as Akebono (a well known and very large Sumo wrestler in Japan, who
is originally from Hawai'i).

BTW, my son was also nicknamed Akebono and Sumo as a baby. We still call
him Sumo, although the name no longer applies----thank goodness!

Aloha,
Gloria Thai LLLLeader Hawai'i
