Rule number two -- get norton's utilities & antivirus and update very
frequently and have it be on all the time to check on all incoming mail

-- has saved me grief at least 5 times in the last couple of months -- cant
say my daughter has been so lucky -- she kept saying no to the auto up date
and lost ALL of her address books and her buddy lists for her instant message
services (a curse worse than death for a teen ager-- can't say i did not warn
her.


i also got a virus from karen koss -- nortons caught it right away -- i tried
to e-mail her back but the address had been altered to be a fake -- checked
it against her real one and it was altered i have notified her by telephone
tonight and will fill her in on how to clear her machine of the virus
