    Oh dear...............and I thought that this had been put to rest.
    Evidence; try the AAP Red Book, Lawrence's "Medical Contraindications to 
Breastfeeding". and Lawrence and Lawrence's 6th edition.
    It is safe for the baby to nurse if the mother has any type of infectious 
disease except HIV/AIDS, active untreated TB, and herpes on the breast. And 
chicken pox.
