I had a call today.  Mom has a long hx of supply problems, even used SNS
for 1 yr with first babe.  This babe she was very anxious, she's had
several home visits, numerous trips in for wt. checks.  She has been
taking Fenugreek since delivery (3 caps q 3-4 hrs).  Babe was 7-14 at
birth (2 mos ago), last week he was 11-6.

She talked to an herbalist that seemed "alarmed" that she was taking so
much, she stated that it could mess up hormone level.  Mom decreased to
6-8/24hr.  She now c/o a sudden, drastic decrease in supply approx 2
wks after decrease in Fenugreek.  Not feeling full, breasts soft,
nipples even look different.  She no longer smells like maple.  States
that her breasts look "pre-pregnancy".  Babe fewer diapers, rooting
around of hands, otherwise, no change.

Anyone heard of long term effects?  Change in hormone level?
