Dear Friends:
Asthma is pretty complicated, besides lack of breastfeeding, who knows
what other factors play a role? Family history, tobacco use in the home,
allergies, and environmental contamination are also parts of this puzzle.
I can't help but wonder about the boost that a baby would get by being
breastfed. Perhaps that baby will develop asthma later in life or be
hospitalized less? Need less medication? Avoid more secondary infections?
    Warmly,
Nikki Lee RN, MSN, Mother of 2, IBCLC, CIMI
