I stand corrected by Liz Baldwin. Living in a country where things are very
different, it is hard to imagine that one could risk a citation or even jail
for bringing a baby to a courtroom.
So, on to plan B. Take along a caregiver who can watch baby while mother
testifies. A mother and a three month old shouldn't have to be separated
for longer than the interval between two feeds. See the ILO recommendations
on maternity leave as well. Chris Mulford, do you have them on the top of
your head?
Wondering what is so fragile about the halls of justice that a mere babe
threatens them,
