Off the cuff....

Breastfeeding is important, and you can do it.

Bottle nipples and pacifiers can mess up a baby's sucking, so the baby may
get less milk and make you sore.

Holding your baby skin to skin is good for you and the baby.

Breastfeeding should be comfortable -- if it hurts, ask for help.

New babies nurse very often and irregularly.

Don't wait till baby is crying -- keep baby close, and nurse her when she
moves her mouth.

Hold baby facing you, with her nose near where your nipple is [before you
grasp the breast], and bring her on chin-first.

Wait till baby opens *wide*, like a yawn.

Finish the first breast first.

If enough comes out, enough went in. [then a couple key details]
