So far I have only received 10 requests for ribbons to identify
ourselves at the Conference. I added a couple names that indicated
in posts that they are going and myself which brings the total to
13. I have 27 left from the last conference, so unless I hear from
a number of you by 5PM Saturday, I won't make any additional. First
choice will go to the ones that requested and the others to anyone
else as long as they last.
I will be at the preconference and will also have them when we get
together for Lunch on Friday. Meanwhile, those of you who do not
know me, I'm easy to spot (although 30-40 pounds less of me to spot
than in Boca) and you will see me sporting a gnarly looking natural
wood cane.

Almost all packed and sure I must be missing something as I have
some space left!!! Have to work Saturday and Sunday, then take off
on Monday.

Winnie

P.S. for any of you planning on bringing film - my husband was
concerned about reports in photo magazines about some film being
ruined by the airport scanners. I checked with the local photo shop
and was told that yes, your film (both unexposed and exposed) can
sometimes get hazy in the scanners-the higher the ASA rating, the
more risk. His recommendation was to carry the film separately and
insist on having the guards examine it by hand. He reported that
sometimes they object, but he has always gotten his handled that way
if he stands firm. At any rate, carry it on. If you leave it in
your luggage that gets stowed, it may be subject to a lot more heat.
