Thank you, Karen, for your suggestions. I just posted about the somewhat 
more negative side of the picture, so to speak, but I also love the side you 
are presenting.
Establishing trust between the mother and yourself is very important and I, 
too, like to get deeper into what moves women.
I really like how you described your way of friendly 'confronting' a mother 
with, what is called in active listening, the-question-behind-the-question. 
Your I-messages create an open atmosphere, in which you give an opening and, 
like you said, make clear that nothing human is strange to you. Thank you, 
for your description!
