I don't know the answer to this and haven't seen it posted:

Since breastmilk has adequate amounts of Vitamin D IF a mom and baby are
also being exposed to sunlight, how much sunlight is enough? Daily? Like
toddler feeding, balanced over the course of a week or so? How much cloudy
day brightness is enough? I have heard 15 minutes a day face exposure-- is
that enough? I have a large number of mothers in my practice who don't want
to have to do/feed anything besides breastmilk-- and I think I would be in
their shoes if I was still feeding a baby.

What are you all saying to your moms?
