There is a LLLL (I think she is also IBCLC) in Washington D.C. , Judy Gelman,
who has become something of an "expert" on adoptive nursing.She has 3
children, all adopted, all breastfed (although I don't think she ever
produced a full milk supply for anyone).I think she does a lot of
counseling of moms in this area(that is, adoptive nursing, not
geographic area- I think she does a lot of long-distance  counseling via
phone).
I heard her speak at a LLLL Area Conference two years ago, very interesting.
