I have not had time to read all of the posts lately, but I did read the
ones about diaper content and weight gain. I don't know if anyone else
mentioned Barbara Wilson-Clay and Kay Hoover's "The Diaper Diary."

It comes in tear-off sheets and has color pictures of the normal
progression of stooling in the newborn, along with excellent guides in
quantity of output.

My clients are grateful for the sheet, which also has an output record on
the back. Now when I do follow-up calls they will describe the stool or
urine in more accurate terms.
