YES!  I would suggest skin to skin as much as possible--sleeping/napping
together, bathing together, snuggling, stroking etc.--all done with as
little clothing separating as possible.  I have seen this happen.  This
little one needs all of this after all that she has been through, and so
does mom.  The benefit of skin to skin connecting isn't a one way street nor
is it limitied to the newborn period.
