Greetings,
Regarding the "ephedra-free" weight-loss product: The label does not
impress. Hope mom and baby are not sensitive to caffeine and other CNS
stimulants, as they may would be taking unquantified but probably fairly
hefty doses with this product. These herbs are probably very
counterproductive when mom is trying to build supply.

Proprietary Thermodyne 1415 mg - how many pills per day?
tyroplex - new format of tyrosine??? no info immediately available
(sorry, in a hurry here)
       green tea - caffeine
       caffeine
       seropro - no info here
cocoa extract - a little caffeine expected, at least in ordinary
cocoa powder; an extract could differ, depending on the extraction process.
       yerba mate - caffeine
ginger root - no issues (considered to give a boost to metabolism)
dl'methionine - sulphur containing amino acid touted for metabolising
fat. A cautionary note for methionine in Nutraceuticals: the complete
encyclopedia of supplements, herbs, vitamins and healing foods ( Roberts,
O'Brien and Subak-Sharp 2001): "Single amino acids, such as methionine,
should be taken with caution and always under a physician's guidance, since
they can have serious effects on the nervous system."
       isotherm - ???
bitter orange - Citrus aurantium - no caffeine, BUT does contain the
CNS stimulant synephrine. Side note---Now that ephedra has been villainized
(instead of it's unhealthy combination with caffeine herbs), bitter orange
and another herb, Sida cordifolia or flannelweed are THE new
ephedra-replacing CNS-stimulant herbs. ( note that Sida cordifolia contains
ephedrine, same as Ephedra).
       DMAE - sorry, no info
grape seed extract - anti-oxidant, no issues.

Quick read but think you get the picture. Ephedra-free does not mean
CNS-stimulant-free or even necessarily, ephedrine-free if Sida is in the
product.
