Deb:  A& D used to be recommended...it no longer is.  The only topical that
La Leche recommends is USP Modified Medical Grade Lanolin (one brand is
Lans-n_h).  Please try to update this physician's view on this.  The new
Breastfeeding Answer Book (1997) has a great section on it.  Maybe you
could suggest that Kaiser purchase this from LLLI.
