Catherine, I agree wholeheartedly with what you said. Sometimes physicians
want everything to go by the book. I have a cartoon in my office of a woman
with her baby talking to the doctor he says "Of course you can raise your
baby by the book, but we'd have to write a new book for every baby."
I have a pet peeve with electric pumps. Have you ever noticed that they are
labeled minimum and normal? Most of my moms don't pump at normal but about
halfway because that is where it's the most comfortable. Why don't they label
them mimimum and maximum?
