A mom who is "occasionally" breastfeeding her 10 day old has been given
Maxalt for her headaches. It is not listed in Briggs or Hale's most
recent editions. I checked the FDA website and it is similar to
sumatriptan succiante (Imitrex) which does seem to be OK for nursing
moms. Can anyone help me get more recent and specific information?
