In a follow-up of Jan Barger's post, I use the term "nutritional failiure
to thrive" when referring to babies who don't gain, but for whom the
psychosocial wiethdrawal/emotional neglect that results in classic FTT, is
not the issue.

It makes clear to all that we are talking about a deficit of food and/or
feeding patterns/frequencies, not something else.  This seems to help also
with MDs who are initially unconvinced that LCs can help these moms and
babes.
