I have also worked with a woman who made green colostrum for her baby.  She pumped and we (the nurses fed) the baby because it was in the NICU back in 1992 (?).  I will admit to not knowing if this was normal to produce and looking at it with question.  One of the younger nurses that was there did not hesitate to feed the baby the colostrum, she also told the mom it was normal and that she had seen it before.  And to this day I have loved her faith in human milk.
